 Grateful and humbled at the same time, I am over the moon to announce that MAMA Academy awarded me the title of Independent Midwife of the Year. There are no words to describe how I felt when my name came up on the screen and friends, colleagues and clients started texting me at almost the same time. This award represents all the amazing families I support on their journey to the most positive and healthy pregnancy and birth. It's their trust in me that has brought me to where I am now. I also carry this title home to represent all my fellow Independent Midwives who go above and beyond to make the difference- every day. As I always say INDEPENDENT MIDWIVES ROCK!
