I am unable to provide homebirth care only. The 'mini homebirth package' is the smallest package of care for homebirths that I offer. This package includes some antenatal and postnatal care which enables me to provide safe and effective care for you and your baby.
Should you miscarry you would only pay for any appointments you've had with me. The refund policy goes through all the different scenarios and explains how much refund you would be entitled to. It can be found further down on this page.
I am unable to claim directly from your health insurer however I can provide you with receipts for your claim.

Doulas provide practical and emotional support for you and your family. They do not perform clinical tasks or give medical advice. They advocate and support women's informed choices. Doulas are not regulated by a governing body and have no legal clinical duty of care.
Midwives provide holistic antenatal, birth and postnatal care and are specialists in physiological pregnancy and birth. They can perform clinical tasks, give medical advice and assess the physical well-being of you and your baby. They advocate and support women's informed choices. Midwives are regulated by the NMC (UK) and NMBI (ROI) Have legal responsibility and clinical duty of care

Freebirth is when you choose to have your baby with no help from a healthcare provider.
Freebirth is not a home birth. For a home birth, a trained health professional is present — generally 2 midwives. With freebirth, only the pregnant woman is present. They may invite their partner or other family members to also attend.

Yes, you can add private blood test and private scans to your package of care if you wish. Blood tests can be done at your antenatal appointments and scans will be at a private scan clinic close to you.
You can either pay in full or in flexible installments depending on your package of care. I accept Visa, ApplePay, GooglePay, PayPal , BACS and more.
Appointments are flexible and at the time that suits you - this includes evenings and weekends. The frequency of your appointments depends on your package of care. you can find more information on this in the services section.
If you decide to cancel care, generally, you will only pay for the care I have provided. I your plans change for example if you had planned a homebirth and it ended up not being possible. whether you will be refunded for birth care will depend on your specific circumstances. Homebirth package includes the cost of insurance, equipment and two midwives being on-call and present for the birth. Support in hospital packages includes the cost of insurance and one midwife to be on-call and present for the birth. Hence the support in hospital packages cost slightly less.
